Meditation on Gratitude - with Deepak Chopra

The word meditation comes from the Latin meditatio, which originally indicated every type of physical or intellectual exercise, then later evolved into the more specific meaning "contemplation."
Eastern spiritual teachings, including meditation, have been adapted and increasingly practiced in Western culture.

Very helpful video. We're not wanting in technological advancement. What we're lacking is the facility to reconnect to our inner self. As individuals we're harried and frayed dancing to the demands of modern living. It's great to make a full stop once in a while to meditate, which can only make us fully appreciative of our gains and what needs to be attained in the future.

That is so tru Jan. Our outer technology is progressed so quickly, yet our inner technology sometimes falls behind. We need to take time to unplug, detach, and be still. This will help us cultivate a balanced perspective and a grounded awareness in these exponentially changing times.
