How To Change Your Life in Less Than A Minute

Make the choice

Make the choice right now to change. Make the choice to commit to doing whatever it takes. Realize right now that you will never get it done and it will never be perfect.

Start right now and you will figure it out as you go along. Take one step, whatever it may be, and the next one will reveal itself. The most important thing you can do right now is make the choice to change, do this, and things will change.

Change environment

The environment around us influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions. If you are surrounded by negative and depressed people, then obviously it will be much more difficult for you to become a happier person than if you were surrounded by happier and optimistic people.

Not only do the people around us have influence, but so the spaces in which we inhabit. Don’t believe me? Think of how much better you feel on a beach or walking in the forest. Something about the space you inhabit feels different. Whether or not we can fully understand and explain how this happens is beside the point. The point is that you know the feeling I am talking about.

Change what you eat

What you eat is not limited to the food that you consume; rather this includes all of the sensory influences you allow into your mind. This includes everything that you watch, read, or listen to.

Watching horror and doomsday films will not help improve your worldview.

Watching the news constantly will never help to pick up your mood.

Listening to angry, hateful, or otherwise negative music will not fill you with feelings of joy.

I bring up these examples because this is what many people allow their minds to be filled up with most of the time. These are the same people that wonder why they don’t feel good.

The connection between what goes in your brain and what comes out of it is obvious and logical.

If you want to feel happier and more positive, then consume media that is happy and positive.

You can’t put garbage in and expect diamonds out.
This is a completely insane assumption, yet most people operate under this.

What is the definition of insanity?

Doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result.

This means that if you want different results, then you are going to have to do different things.

This is going to require you to change. This means that if you want things you’ve never had, then you’re going to have to do things you’ve never done.
There is no way around this.

So I encourage you to take action from this moment forward to examine who you surround yourself with and determine if they are the kind of people that you want to be.

Examine your environment and see if it is supporting or hindering your growth.

Examine the media that you consume and see if it is taking your closer or further away from where you want to go.

These are all very simple things you can do right now to change your life.

I encourage you to take action right now.
